余隆

余隆是活跃于国际乐坛的最杰出的中国指挥家。现任北京国际音乐节艺术委员会主席、中国爱乐乐团艺术总监、上海交响乐团和广州交响乐团音乐总监,上海夏季音乐节的联合总监、以及香港管弦乐团首席客席指挥。

作为中国的文化外交官,余隆通过音乐的方式来弥合文化和思想。这种精神也作为核心引领他“20:20作曲家”计划。该项目是向中国和西方观众呈现彼此音乐领域的隆重的尝试。在2014年和2020年间,余隆将在他的西方音乐会上呈献中国作曲家的20部新作品,并同时带给中国观众20个西方当代作品。所有作品将选自余隆高度认可其音乐的作曲家。

余隆与世界各地众多知名交响乐团和歌剧院有着广泛合作,他指挥过的乐团有纽约爱乐乐团、芝加哥交响乐团、费城交响乐团、洛杉矶爱乐乐团、蒙特利尔交响乐团、华盛顿国家交响乐团、辛辛那提交响乐团、巴黎管弦乐团、班贝格交响乐团、汉堡国家歌剧院、柏林广播交响乐团、莱比锡广播交响乐团、慕尼黑爱乐乐团、汉堡北德广播交响乐团、悉尼交响乐团、墨尔本交响乐团、BBC交响乐团、香港管弦乐团、东京爱乐乐团和新加坡交响乐团等。2008年5月,余隆指挥中国爱乐乐团和上海歌剧院合唱团在梵蒂冈城保罗六世礼堂为教宗本笃十六世及八千余名听众演出了莫扎特的《安魂曲》,成为令全世界瞩目的重要文化盛事。今年初,余隆签约德意志留声机唱片公司,与其率领的上海交响乐团建立为期三年的唱片全球发行合作关系。

余隆的艺术生涯涵盖指挥和艺术管理领域。1992年,余隆担任中央歌剧院常任指挥。同年,他创办了中国的新年音乐会系列,并连续三年担任指挥,开启国内演出新年音乐会之先河。1993年起,余隆连续五年为香港市政局指挥歌剧演出。1998年,余隆发起创办了北京国际音乐节,担任艺术总监。在他的出色领导下,北京国际音乐节已跻身于全球最重要的音乐节之列。同时他于2005年创办CISMA广州国际音乐夏令营、2010年MISA上海夏季音乐节和广东亚洲音乐节,并担任其艺术总监。

余隆1964年出生于上海的音乐世家,自幼随外祖父、著名作曲家丁善德教授学习音乐。后求学于上海音乐学院和德国柏林高等艺术大学。鉴于余隆在推动当今世界古典音乐事业发展和促进国际间文化交流方面所做的突出贡献,2002年,德国万宝龙文化基金会向余隆颁发了年度“万宝龙卓越艺术成就奖”;2003年,法国政府特别授予余隆“法兰西文学艺术骑士勋章”;2005年,意大利政府向余隆颁发了“共和国骑士勋章”;2010中央音乐学院颁发的荣誉院士证书,表彰他对中国音乐的发展和对外文化交流做出的杰出贡献,这是国内艺术大学首次颁发“荣誉院士”称号,余隆成为我国艺术家中获此殊荣的第一人;当年12月又被授予“2010年年度中国文化人物”大奖。2013年,余隆获颁国家级学术机构主办的最高艺术大奖“中华艺文奖”。2014年12月,他获得象征着法国最高荣誉典属体系的荣誉军团骑士勋章。2015年,余隆获颁“全国中青年德艺双馨文艺工作者”称号,同年荣获由美国大西洋理事会颁发的“全球公民”奖,以及由耶鲁大学音乐学院颁发的“桑福德奖章”。2016年4月,余隆当选美国艺术与科学学院外籍荣誉院士。2016年6月,被授予德意志联邦共和国十字勋章。现余隆是第十一、十二、第十三届全国政协委员,并担任中国音乐家协会副主席职务。

 

Long Yu

The preeminent Chinese conductor with an established international reputation, Long Yu is currently Chairman of Artistic Committee of the Beijing Music Festival, Artistic Director of the China Philharmonic Orchestra, Music Director of the Shanghai and Guangzhou Symphony Orchestras, the co-director of MISA Shanghai Summer Festival, and the principal guest conductor of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra.

Widely considered China’s cultural diplomat, Maestro Yu considers music as a way to bridge cultures and ideas. This spirit is at the forefront of his Compose 20:20 initiative. The project is a grand attempt to present to China and to the West an entire canon of the other region s music. Between 2014 and the year 2020, Long Yu will present new works by Chinese composers at his concerts in the West, and during that same period he will program 20 contemporary Western works in China. All the pieces selected will be by composers about whose music Long Yu is passionate.

Long Yu frequently conducts the leading orchestras and opera companies around the world, including the New York Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, Montreal Symphony Orchestra, Washington National Symphony, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre de Paris, Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, Hamburg State Opera, Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, Rundfunk Sinfonie Orchester Leipzig, NDR Sinfonieorchester, Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic, Tokyo Philharmonic and Singapore Symphony Orchestra. In 2008, for the first time in history, the China Philharmonic Orchestra performed under the baton of maestro Long Yu at the Vatican in the Paul VI Auditorium. The concert was attended by The Holy Father Pope Benedict XIV and marked a giant step in bringing eastern and western cultures closer together. In the beginning of 2018, Long Yu signed a recording deal with Deutsche Grammophon for a 3-year global release and distribution partnership along with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra which is under the leadership of him.

Long Yu’s career has included both artistic and administrative appointments. In 1992, he was appointed Principal Conductor of the Central Opera Theatre in Beijing and involved in the planning of the Chinese New Year’s Concert series later that year and served as its conductor for three consecutive years. He created opera productions for The Urban Council of Hong Kong for five successive years. In 1998, he led the creation of the Beijing Music Festival and has been its Artistic Director ever since. Under his leadership the Beijing Music Festival is regarded as one of the world’s most important music festivals. In 2005, with the provincial government s support, he built up the Canton International Summer Music Academy and became its Chairman for the following three years. He also established the MISA Shanghai Summer Music Festival in 2010 and later that year, the Canton Asian Music Festival.

Born in 1964 into a music family in Shanghai, Long Yu received his early musical education from his grandfather Ding Shande, a composer of great renown, and went on to study at the Shanghai Conservatory and the Hochschule der Kunst in Berlin. He was the recipient of the 2002 Arts Patronage Award of the Montblanc Cultural Foundation. He also has been awarded the Chevalier dans L’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 2003, the title of L’onorificenza di commendatore by President Berlusconi in 2005 for his outstanding contribution in the field of music and culture. In 2010, Long Yu received an Honorary Academician from the Central Conservatory of Beijing for his great dedication on cultural exchanging and music development in China. In December 2010, he was awarded People of the Year in Arts Field in China. In 2013, Long Yu was awarded the national level arts award China Arts Award. In December 2014, he was awarded France s highest honor of merit by receiving Chevalier de la Legion d Honneur from the France government. In 2015, Long Yu was named “Morally and Artistically Excellent Artist” by state authority. He was also awarded “Global Citizen Award” by the Atlantic Council, and the Sanford Medal by Yale University’s College of Music in 2015. In April, 2016, Long Yu was elected as a Foreign Honorary Member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. In June, 2016, he was an award receipt of The Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. Long Yu is currently Vice-president of Chinese Musicians Association, member of the 11th, 12th and 13th the National Committee of the Chinese People s Political Consultative Conference.

玛丽·塞缪尔森 小提琴

Mari Samuelsen

Highly acclaimed Norwegian violinist MARI SAMUELSEN has enjoyed a remarkable rise on the international concert stage through a characteristic mixture of artistry and enterprise. Her concerts combine a breathtaking musical finesse and virtuosity and an imaginative and innovative approach to presentation.

For more than 25 years she has also collaborated in duo with her brother, cellist HakonSamuelsen, performed together, connecting with audiences and musicians around the world. In spring 2015, they released their debut album, Pas de Deux, Mercury/Decca (Universal), the centrepiece of which was a new work written for them by the Oscar-winning composer, the late James Horner. It went directly to no. 1 in the Norwegian pop charts, the first classical album to do so in more than 20 years.

Mari Samuelsen has appeared as soloist at some of the world’s most prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, New York; Théâtre des Champs – Elysées, Paris; Konzerthaus, Berlin; Smetana Hall, Prague; Kremlin Hall, Moscow and the Victoria Hall, Geneva, most recently making debuts in recital at the Barbican, London and the KKL, Lucerne, with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, at the Hollywood Bowl and the opening concert of the Montreux Jazz Festival.  Mari works regularly with the composer Max Richter, as the soloist, in concert performances of both his “Recomposed “and “Memoryhouse“,  as well as on his recent Deutsche Grammophon album “Three Worlds – Music from Woolf Works”.

丹尼尔·特里福诺夫 钢琴

Daniil Trifonov Piano

Grammy Award winning Russian pianist Daniil Trifonov (dan-EEL TREE-fon-ov) – winner of Gramophone’s 2016 Artist of the Year award – has made a spectacular ascent of the classical music world as a solo artist, champion of the concerto repertoire, chamber and vocal collaborator, and composer. Combining consummate technique with rare sensitivity and depth, his performances are a perpetual source of awe. “He has everything and more … tenderness and also the demonic element. I never heard anything like that,” marveled pianist Martha Argerich. Trifonov recently added a first Grammy Award to his already considerable string of honors, winning Best Instrumental Solo Album of 2018 with Transcendental, a double album of Liszt’s works that marks his third title as an exclusive Deutsche Grammophon.

阿伊达·嘉莉芙琳娜 女高音

俄罗斯女高音歌唱家阿伊达·嘉莉芙琳娜出生并成长在俄罗斯的喀山。她的母亲是名合唱团歌唱家,从小她便接受来自于母亲的音乐指导,逐渐成为了歌剧歌唱家。阿伊达·嘉莉芙琳娜先后毕业于纽伦堡音乐学院与维也纳音乐学院,在2013年取得了歌剧比赛的大奖之后,走上了专业歌剧表演的道路。作为迪卡唱片专门的唱片艺术家,她的专辑于2017年2月在全球发行,并取得了古典回声大奖。在最新的乐季中,阿伊达·嘉莉芙琳娜将在巴黎歌剧院的制作《雪姑娘》中饰演女一号,并在布拉格歌剧院和莫斯科歌剧院举办独唱音乐会。在格拉费内格音乐节中,还将与狄米特里·福斯列夫斯基合作,并在威格莫尔音乐厅和维也纳音乐厅与劳伦斯·布朗尼一同举办声乐专场音乐会。除此之外,阿伊达·嘉莉芙琳娜还曾与安德鲁·波切利一起举办过美国巡演,并在专题电影《佛罗伦萨养育了詹金斯》中饰演了莉莉·彭斯的角色。

Aida Garifullina SOPRANO

The Russian soprano singer AIDA GARIFULLINA was born in Kazan, studied vocal arts (also in Vienna), and won the Operalia singing competition in 2013. In 2012 she sang in a gala at the Arena di Verona for the first time. At Valery Gergiev´s invitation, she made her debut at the Mariinskij theatre as Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro and also sang Adina in L’elisird’amore as well as Gilda in Rigoletto. The same year she appeared in Beijing alongside Plácido Domingo, at the Bolschoi theatre and in Kazan. In 2014 she was Natasha Rostova in Prokofjew´s Krieg und Frieden under the direction of Valery Gergiev – a production which was repeatedly shown on MEZZO. She was awarded the title Honoured Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan at a very early age. She recently signed an exclusive contract with Decca Classics.

Future performances will for example lead her to Turin, Savonlinna and Paris. In 2014 she became ensemble member of the Wiener Staatsoper, where she has for example sung Susanna, Eudoxie (La Juive), Musetta, Adina, Zerlina, Irina (Tri Sestri), Norina and at the opening of the opera ball in 2015.

托比·斯宾塞 男高音

托比·斯宾塞先后毕业于市政厅学院声乐与戏剧专业和牛津大学新学院合唱表演专业。是2011年皇家爱乐协会声乐比赛中的最高奖获得者。

Toby Spence TENOR

Toby Spence has sung with the Royal Opera, Covent Garden, the Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, the Paris Opera, English National Opera, BayerischeStaatsoper, Teatro Real, Madrid, Theater an der Wien, and the HamburgischeStaatsoper, and at the Salzburg, Aix-en-Provence and Edinburgh festivals.

On the concert platform he works with Sir Simon Rattle, Andris Nelsons, Thomas Adés, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Nikolaus Harnoncourt and SemyonBychkov.

Engagements for the 2017/18 season include  In concert, Toby will appear with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Houston Symphony.

Recent operatic engagements Captain Vere in the Teatro Real’s new production of Billy Budd, Don Ottavio Don Giovanni at the Liceu Barcelona, Anatol Vanessa at Frankfurt Opera and Ghandi Satyagraha for English National Opera. Forthcoming Toby will sing Captain Vere Billy Budd at Opera di Roma, Les Illuminations for Teatro Real Madrid, PyladesIphigénie with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and will make his debut as Florestan Fidelio.

LudovicTézier BARITONE

LUDOVIC TÉZIER was born in Marseille. He studied in Paris and was the winner of the Operalia Competition in 1998. Engagements have led him to stages like the New York Metropolitan Opera, the Paris Opera, the Milan Scala, the BayerischeStaatsoper, the Gran Teatre del Liceu, to Toulouse, Marseille, Monte Carlo, Aix-en-Procence, Bilbao, Turin, the Salzburg Festival and to Baden-Baden. Current performances include Don Carlo (La forza del destino) in Munich, Rigoletto in Toulouse, Enrico in London, Macbeth in Barcelona and Simon Boccanegra in Monte Carlo.

Wiener Singakademie CHOIR

The Wiener Singakademie was founded in 1858 as Vienna’s first mixed choir. From the very beginning, the repertoire of the Wiener Singakademie was marked by two main considerations: fostering the works of the classical masters on the one hand, and including contemporary works on the other. Very soon the Wiener Singakademie established itself as a notable part of Vienna’s concert life. In 1882, the young Johannes Brahms was brought to Vienna to serve as the choirmaster of the Wiener Singakademie. He would come to regard Vienna as the centre of his life.

From the middle of the 1980s and into the 1990s, under the then Secretary General of the Konzerthaus, Alexander Pereira, and later under the choir’s artistic director, Herbert Böck, the choir further strengthened its position in the Wiener Konzerthaus. The choir can look back on its work with great artists like Georges Prêtre, Yehudi Menuhin, Claudio Abbado, Sir Roger Norrington, John Elliot Gardiner, Sir Simon Rattle, and Kent Nagano.

In 1998, Heinz Ferlesch assumed the post of artistic director of the Wiener Singakademie. As one of its longest serving directors, he has shaped the style of the choir and has helped to build up a programme to support and sponsor young artists. This includes not only the development and further training of the choir members, but also the inclusion of young, gifted soloists and ensembles in the concert programmes. As a result of innovation and increased programme variety, initiated by Konzerthaus Secretary General Christoph Lieben-Seutter and with which the Wiener Singakademie is also closely linked, the repertoire of the choir now covers a wide spectrum of musical genres stretching from Bach’s “Johannespassion” under Ton Koopman to Britten’s “War Requiem” under Simone Young, and from Verdi’s “Messa da Requiem” under Franz Welser-Möst to Scelsi’s “Konx-Om-Pax” under Ingo Metzmacher.

上海交响乐团

作为亚洲地区历史最悠久的交响乐团,上海交响乐团前身为1879年成立的上海公共乐队,1922年改称上海工部局乐队。1956年正式定名为上海交响乐团。这支乐团不仅是最早广泛介绍西方音乐、最早演奏中国管弦乐作品、最早培养中国音乐人才、最早培养中国交响乐听众的乐团,更在而后跨越三个世纪的跌宕起伏中,始终秉持着国际视野和海纳百川的城市精神,逐步成长为一个汇聚全球顶尖演奏家、最能代表中国音乐诠释能力的世界级乐团。

上海交响乐团引领了交响乐在中国发展的每个重要历史阶段。跨入二十一世纪,乐团以其专业化和国际化的运营理念,成为中国首个与国际接轨组建理事会的乐团,也是中国首个跨入职业化运营轨道、运作高质量年度音乐季且成功实行预售票制度的乐团。从音乐季到上海新年音乐会、上海新春音乐会,从上海夏季音乐节到上交室内乐,由乐团创办的一系列音乐演出品牌不仅建立了跨洲际的文化交流,更助推了跨音乐领域的文化繁荣,实现了人与人、团与团乃至国与国间的音乐沟通。

上海交响乐团始终引领着每个时期最出色的音乐家与乐团在国际和国内舞台上合作,成为中国大陆与世界级指挥家、独奏家、歌唱家合作最早、合作场次最多的交响乐团。二十世纪七十年代以来,乐团先后前往几十个国家和地区作访问演出,成为首个登上卡内基音乐厅(1990年卡内基音乐厅百年庆典专场音乐会)、柏林爱乐大厅以及唯一受邀在纽约中央公园夏季音乐会上演出的中国交响乐团。2015年8月乐团参加了在联合国大厅举行的纪念反法西斯战争胜利70周年音乐会。2017年夏季,乐团又开启新一轮欧巡之旅,亮相于蒂罗尔、汉堡等地舞台,更成为首支获邀登台琉森音乐节的中国乐团。2018年6月,乐团在音乐总监余隆的带领下加入柏林德意志留声机公司(DG)大家庭;作为亚洲最古老的交响乐团,上海交响乐团与欧洲大陆历史最悠久的唱片公司DG开启了为期三年的合作,并成为国内首个由DG全球发行唱片的交响乐团。

打造中国当代交响乐的宏伟蓝图也是上海交响乐团矢志不渝的目标之一。从中国第一部交响乐作品黄自《怀旧》还有全球演出最多的中国作品何占豪、陈钢《梁祝》,到国际上屡获殊荣的朱践耳十部交响曲,以及当今乐坛最活跃的华人作曲家谭盾《地图》等作品,都由上海交响乐团首演及推向世界,是迄今为止首演当代中国作品最多的交响乐团,可谓是中国交响乐最权威的诠释者;其中与谭盾合作的电影音乐《卧虎藏龙》一举拿下奥斯卡和格莱美两项大奖。不仅如此,乐团还开创了中国乐团与国外著名乐团联手委约国际作曲家作品的先河——首次与纽约爱乐向作曲家约翰·科里亚联合委约《甜美的早晨》;与中国爱乐、广州爱乐联合委约赵麟《度》并全球首演;委约陈其钢创作《京剧瞬间》、小提琴协奏曲《悲喜同源》等;委约叶小纲创作《敦煌》等,推动当代作曲家创作具时代气息、凸显中国元素的世界级新作。

普及高雅艺术是上海交响乐团义不容辞的义务,也是乐团融入上海城市文脉的有力途径。2014年9月,上海交响乐团音乐厅正式投入使用,标志着上海交响乐团承载百年的梦想变为现实,开启团厅合一的全新运营模式。乐团与纽约爱乐、上海音乐学院合作创办的上海乐队学院(SOA)以上海交响乐团为实践中心,全面培养职业乐队演奏人才;寓教于乐的“音乐地图课堂”拉近观众和乐团的距离;上海艾萨克斯特恩国际小提琴比赛在2018年夏季成功举办了第二届赛事,成为中国文化走出去的又一扇窗。

139年来,上海交响乐团践行着“音乐沟通世界”的使命,在上海城市精神、中国国家意志、世界国际潮流的引领下,成为东西方文化交流和亚洲音乐教育的推动者与培养者,延续着三个世纪光荣梦想。

 

ShanghaiSymphonyOrchestra

Shanghai Symphony Orchestra is the earliest and the best-known ensemble of its kind in Asia, through which the Chinese symphonic music develops. Originally known as the Shanghai Public Band, it was renamed the Shanghai Municipal Orchestra in 1922. Notably under the baton of the Italian conductor Mario Paci, the orchestra promoted Western music and trained Chinese young talents very early in China, and introduced the first Chinese orchestral work to the audience, hence reputed as the "the best in the Far East".

Practically, the history of Shanghai Symphony Orchestra may be referred to as the history of China s symphonic music development. Spanning three different centuries, the Shanghai Symphony has now embraced a new era; it has held over ten thousand concerts – giving premiere performances of several thousand musical works and has played a major role in collaborations between world-class musicians on both the international and domestic stages, gained a reputation as the most authoritative explainer of Chinese symphonic compositions while promoting them with every possible endeavor. It was the very first orchestra in China to institute a Governing Council and to manage a high quality concert season with a ticket pre-sale system. The orchestra created a series of musical products, including: the Concert Season, the Shanghai New Year’s Concert, the Spring Festival Concert, the Music in the Summer Air. These performances have not only fostered cultural exchange but have also built a bridge between people, orchestras and nations.

The Orchestra also pioneered co-commissioning with world leading orchestras from well-known composers: “One Sweet Morning” was co-commissioned by the Orchestra and New York Philharmonic from composer John Corigliano; Duo was co-commissioned by Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Chinese Philharmonic Orchestra and Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra from Zhao Lin; also the commission works such as Symphonic OvertureInstants d un Opera de Pekincomposed by Qigang Chen and Symphonic Suite Dunhuangcomposed by Xiaogang Ye. It has premiered the greatest number of contemporary Chinese works: In Memoriamby Huang Tzu, Butterfly Lovers by He Zhanhao and Chen Gang, ten symphonies by Zhu Jian’er, and The Map by Tan Dun. The original soundtrack to Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon performed by the Orchestra even won the Oscar and a Grammy Award - a first in Chinese musical history.

Since the 1970s, it has toured extensively abroad: In 1990, the orchestra made its debut at Carnegie Hall in New York; in 2003 it performed in 11 cities in the US; while in 2004, it toured Europe to celebrate the Sino-French Cultural Year. Its 125th Anniversary Celebration Concert given at the Berliner Philharmonie (the first Chinese symphony orchestra to play in this hall), was hailed as a great success. In 2009, under the direction of Maestro Long Yu, now the Music Director, the Orchestra embarked on a 12-concert North American tour. In July 2010, Long Yu led the orchestra in a joint concert with the New York Philharmonic in the Central Park, New York, promoting the 2010 Shanghai Expo. Between 2012 and 2015, Long Yu conducted the orchestra in several concerts in Germany, Netherlands, United States, Brazil which included the concert of the Commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the Victory of The World Anti-Fascist War in United Nations Hall. The orchestra made the debut in Luzern and gave other concerts in Tirol, Grafenegg and Hamburg during the European tour in summer of 2017. Shanghai Symphony Orchestra and Maestro Long Yu have signed an exclusive record contract with Deutsche Grammophon in June 2018. Enhancing the SSO’s “Music Connecting Worlds” ethos, the new partnership will help promote the orchestra’s powerful blend of tradition and ambitious future vision.

Promoting the popularity of high art is SSO’s obligation and also a powerful method of Urban Cultural Contextualism. With Shanghai Symphony Hall officially put into use in September 2014, the Orchestra carries centuries of dreams into reality, and starts the new orchestra-venue integration model. The SOA – a joint-initiative between the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, New York Philharmonic and the Shanghai Conservatory of Music held the orientation for their students. The SSO chamber concert which started in 1984 and held regularly since 1991 will be passed on into the new Chamber Hall.

After 139 year history, the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra will continue to always practice its mission - "Music Connecting Worlds". Therefore, SSO has become the promoter and builder of East-West cultural exchanges and Asian music education, and continues a three century old glorious dream.
